Capilano University is a public university that is fully accredited by both the Government of British Columbia (Canada) and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (USA). It is also recognized by British Columbia's Education Quality Assurance [EQA] designation, which is Canada's first and only provincial brand of quality for post-secondary education.
This means that a student's Capilano University credentials will be recognized around the world, whether one is interested in pursuing graduate studies or employment in Canada or abroad. It also means that he/she will be eligible to apply for the Post-Graduation Work Permit after completion of the program requirements.

Students are guided under experienced faculty members and are also taken for industrial visits. The university is visited by some professional lecturers. The guest lectures give students a wide scope to solve their queries. Workshops are also conducted where the students are provided with ample practical knowledge and exposure.
