By registering for the Olympiad, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as provided underneath. Your continued participation shall be subject to the said terms and conditions.

There is no other fee or charges for participation in the Olympiad other than the Registration Fee of Rs. 300 charged by VedSam. The registration for the Olympiad can be done only on VedSam's website or on websites authorised by VedSam for the purpose.

The registration fee charged will not be refunded in case a student decides not to participate in the Olympiad after completing the registration due to any reason whatsoever.

​

There is no requirement to buy any study material or practice material to prepare for the Olympiad. All relevant material will be available on our website free of cost. However, a few recommendations have been provided for students wishing to buy printed material. Interested students can make the purchase for the same from our website. The cost for such books will be in addition to the Registration Fee charged for the Olympiad.

To participate in the Olympiad , you will be required to submit certain Personal Information and other information. When you submit such Information, the same will be collected and stored by us for identifying your participation in the contest and to locate you in case you are among the winners or top achievers.

By submitting your personal information you agree to receive communication from VedSam containing offers, new educational resources, developments, or any other information that we think may be of use to you as a student.

If you do not wish to give consent to our usage of your Information in the above-described manner, you will be ineligible to participate in the Olympiad and your registration with us will become null and void. Also, you may decide not to participate in the Olympiad at any time voluntarily and stop all communications from us by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link on any communication that is sent to you.

You hereby consent and agree to VedSam making use of your photograph, bio-data, personal information, image, likeness, and name submitted by you for all promotional and publicity purposes that VedSam may undertake to promote the Olympiad and for publishing such particulars on any media, in any format.

VedSam reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant, if the company perceives any chances of fraud, at its discretion.

​

The winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Olympiad and the winner shall participate in such activity on VedSam's request. The winner consents to the use by VedSam and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Olympiad, for an unlimited time, of the winners' voice, image, photograph, and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by VedSam and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing, or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice.

Applicable legal, financial, and any laws of the land will apply to all entrants / transactions / interactions.

​

VedSam retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.

​

The Scholarships that will be awarded to the top-rankers will be distributed on a monthly basis in 12 equal instalments. The scholarship will not be given as a lumpsum in one go or in less than 12 instalments in any circumstances. No correspondence will be entertained by VedSam in this regards.

Other physical rewards, like laptop, tablet, and smartphone, will be delivered to the winners within a period of 4 months from the date of declaration of results for phase 2 though we will make all efforts to deliver the same as early as possible.

​

In case of two students scoring same rank even after application of all concerned rules, the rewards for that rank and the next rank will be combined and split equally between the two of them.

​

VedSam further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Olympiad.

VedSam reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Olympiad at any time and from time to time, with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of VedSam in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in that regard.

VedSam shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

The Olympiad, the terms and conditions, and participation by you shall be governed at all times by the laws of India. Any dispute or difference shall be submitted exclusively to arbitration by a sole arbiter appointed by VedSam. The venue of the arbitration shall be at Delhi.
